Persian cuisine… ☕


The big rancorous chocolate picnic cake competition between me and mommey! Which I undoubtedly won of course…

You can find my wonderful recipe below, and the recipe mum used involved beetroot and whatnot loads of sugar and a bar of dark chocolate reaching a deadly 144% saturated fat per tablet… I won on the healthy and tasty front, clearly confirmed by sista’s triple ‘mm mm mm’ food noise. Onto the swiftly cooling chocolate glaze I gently placed edible waffle butterflies and smaller sugary ones.

The BEST chocolate cake ever… that happens to be VEGAN. I kid you not!

After being spoilt with so much Persian vegan food, (with the exception of the unexpected yoghurt on the side of the dolma starter, which we rudely ignored and happily excluded from the picture) we decided to submit ourselves to the Eastern European stereotype and unleash our ruthless side by flying socks, shoes, underwear (mostly newly bought) and whatnot on the green grass outside a mall in Cambridge. We picked them up of course after running out of everything but ourselves…
